The Effects of Hydrogen Gas Inhalation on Adverse Left Ventricular Remodeling After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for ST-Elevated Myocardial Infarction – First Pilot Study in Humans.
In this pilot study, hydrogen inhalation during percutaneous coronary intervention was feasible and safe and may have promoted favorable left-ventricular remodeling six months after STEMI. This small, open-label, pilot study suggests therapeutic potential, while larger randomized, placebo-controlled studies are needed to confirm the finding.
