The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator is a micro/nanobubble bath system independently evaluated by H2HUBB for its ability to dissolve externally supplied molecular hydrogen into standard bathtub water. The unit does not contain an electrolytic hydrogen cell and must be connected to a separate pure-hydrogen generator or compatible hydrogen inhalation machine.

In a 132.5-liter or 35-gallon bath at approximately 104°F, H2HUBB measured dissolved-hydrogen concentrations of approximately 0.35 mg/L with 150 mL/min H₂, 0.92 mg/L with 300 mL/min H₂, and 1.27 mg/L with 600 mL/min H₂ after 20 minutes. The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator is currently priced at $1,589. Use code H2HUBB-50 to save $50, reducing the product price to $1,539.

H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator Review & Independent Test Results

This H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator review covers a household hydrogen bath system manufactured by Hydrogen For Health. The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator uses a recirculating micro/nanobubble system to dissolve externally supplied molecular hydrogen into bathtub water. This page includes independent H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator test results, dissolved-hydrogen calculations, product specifications, equipment requirements, current pricing, and information about the available H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator discount.

Independent H2HUBB testing measured dissolved-hydrogen concentrations of approximately 0.35 mg/L at 150 mL/min, 0.92 mg/L at 300 mL/min, and 1.27 mg/L at 600 mL/min after 20 minutes. Testing was conducted in 132.5 liters, or approximately 35 gallons, of municipally supplied water at approximately 104°F.

H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator Review & Test Results

The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator is a bath-water recirculation and gas-dissolution system designed to disperse externally supplied gas through micro and nanobubbles. The machine draws water from the bathtub through its water-inlet port, mixes the recirculating water with gas supplied through the gas-input port, and returns the infused water to the bathtub through its outlet hose.

The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator does not contain an electrolytic hydrogen cell and does not produce hydrogen gas on its own. A separate pure-hydrogen generator or compatible hydrogen inhalation machine is required to create a hydrogen bath. The connected generator’s hydrogen flow rate directly affects how quickly the dissolved-hydrogen concentration rises and the concentration reached during a session.

H2HUBB evaluated the system using three external sources providing approximately 150, 300, and 600 mL/min of pure hydrogen. Dissolved-hydrogen measurements were taken at five-minute intervals over a 20-minute period using H2Blue® reagent, with the results adjusted to SATP for water temperature and atmospheric pressure.

At 150 mL/min, the machine measured approximately 0.35 mg/L after 20 minutes. At 300 mL/min, it measured approximately 0.92 mg/L. The highest tested result was approximately 1.27 mg/L using a 600 mL/min hydrogen source.

The calculated dissolved-hydrogen saturation point at the test temperature of 104°F was approximately 1.40 mg/L. The 1.27 mg/L result produced with the 600 mL/min source represented approximately 91% of the calculated saturation concentration.

H2HUBB used 0.3 mg/L as its bath-performance benchmark during this evaluation. The 150 mL/min system crossed that benchmark near the end of the 20-minute test, while the 300 and 600 mL/min systems crossed it considerably sooner. For that reason, H2HUBB recommends pairing the bath generator with a pure-hydrogen source rated between approximately 300 and 600 mL/min when faster and higher dissolved-hydrogen performance is desired.

The bath temperature declined by only approximately 3°F during the 20-minute evaluation, moving from approximately 104°F to 101°F. Based on its measured hydrogen-dissolution performance and operation across all three tested flow rates, the H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator received the H2HUBB Seal of Approval.

Approximate Dissolved Hydrogen per Tested Bath

The approximate total dissolved-hydrogen amount was calculated using the measured concentration and the tested bath volume of 132.5 liters:

  • 150 mL/min H₂ at 20 minutes: approximately 0.35 mg/L
  • Total H₂ at 150 mL/min: approximately 46.4 mg in the tested bath
  • 300 mL/min H₂ at 20 minutes: approximately 0.92 mg/L
  • Total H₂ at 300 mL/min: approximately 121.9 mg in the tested bath
  • 600 mL/min H₂ at 20 minutes: approximately 1.27 mg/L
  • Total H₂ at 600 mL/min: approximately 168.3 mg in the tested bath

These results apply to the tested 132.5-liter bath, water temperature, operating time, plumbing configuration, and external hydrogen sources. Actual dissolved-hydrogen performance may vary with bathtub volume, water temperature, hydrogen flow, gas purity, hose placement, water-circulation rate, session length, room conditions, and the time between measurement and use.

Independent Test Procedure

For the H2HUBB evaluation, the H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator was connected to a standard bathtub containing approximately 132.5 liters, or 35 gallons, of municipally supplied water. The starting water temperature was approximately 104°F or 40°C.

The system was separately connected to pure-hydrogen sources rated at approximately 150, 300, and 600 mL/min. H2HUBB operated the bath system for 20 minutes and measured dissolved hydrogen at five, ten, fifteen, and twenty minutes using H2Blue® reagent. Results were adjusted to SATP for water temperature and atmospheric pressure.

For best performance, ensure the inlet and outlet hoses remain properly positioned, the water can circulate freely, the external gas connection is secure, and the connected hydrogen source is operated according to its manufacturer’s instructions. The hydrogen generator or inhalation system is sold separately.

About Hydrogen For Health

Hydrogen For Health has offered hydrogen-generation equipment since 2007. The Utah-based company provides hydrogen inhalation, hydrogen water, and hydrogen bath products for household and professional-use settings.

About the H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator

The H2Life Hydrotherapy Generator is a water-recirculation and micro/nanobubble system designed for use with an external gas source. It does not contain a hydrogen electrolytic cell. To create a hydrogen bath, the system must be connected to a separate pure-hydrogen generator or compatible hydrogen inhalation machine.

The manufacturer recommends using an external gas flow between approximately 300 and 600 mL/min. H2HUBB also tested the unit at 150 mL/min and confirmed that the system could dissolve measurable hydrogen at the lower flow, although higher flows produced faster and substantially greater concentrations.
