The Nord Hydrogen Bottle is a portable high concentration hydrogen water bottle designed to produce hydrogen-rich water through five- and ten-minute operating cycles. The current manufacturer-listed version combines pressure-assisted PEM/SPE electrolysis, a 280 mL water chamber, USB-C charging, an LCD display, a rechargeable 2,200 mAh battery, and a separate bottom opening for oxygen and other anode gases.
H2HUBB independently tested an earlier 210 mL configuration of the Nord Hydrogen Bottle. Testing using H2Blue® reagent measured an average dissolved-hydrogen concentration of approximately 2.83 mg/L after five minutes and approximately 4.75 mg/L after ten minutes. The results were averaged and converted to SATP based on water temperature and atmospheric pressure.
The highest recorded concentration was approximately 3.20 mg/L during the five-minute cycle and approximately 5.01 mg/L during the ten-minute cycle. H2HUBB emphasizes the 4.75 mg/L ten-minute average as the more useful measure of repeatable performance, while the 5.01 mg/L peak represents the highest measured value rather than the concentration that should be expected from every bottle.
The tested 210 mL serving contained approximately 0.60 mg of dissolved H₂ after five minutes and approximately 1.0 mg after ten minutes. The ten-minute dose was equivalent to approximately 12.14 mL of dissolved hydrogen gas. Based on the independently measured concentration, total hydrogen dose, and practical operating time, H2HUBB recommends the ten-minute cycle when maximizing hydrogen concentration and dose.
A separate H2 Analytics evaluation using static-headspace gas chromatography measured approximately 3.44 mg/L after five minutes and approximately 5.14 mg/L after ten minutes. The ten-minute result represented approximately 1.08 mg of available dissolved hydrogen in the tested bottle. Because H2 Analytics used a different laboratory method, its findings should remain separate from the H2HUBB H2Blue® results rather than being combined into one average.
H2HUBB testing found no detectable chlorine or ozone and no increase in water pH under the evaluated conditions. Based on its independently verified hydrogen output, total dose, contamination results, construction, and operation, the tested Nord Hydrogen Bottle received the H2HUBB Seal of Approval.
The current manufacturer page lists a 280 mL version of the bottle. Because bottle volume, headspace, pressure geometry, electrolysis components, and cycle programming can affect performance, the verified concentration and total-dose calculations should not automatically be assigned to the current 280 mL revision without separate testing.

Independent Test Procedure
For the H2HUBB evaluation, the 210 mL Nord Hydrogen Bottle was filled with distilled water and operated using its five- and ten-minute settings. The initial water pH was approximately 6.0, and the water temperature was approximately 65–70°F, or 18–21°C.
Dissolved-hydrogen measurements were performed using H2Blue® reagent. The results were averaged and adjusted to SATP to account for water temperature and atmospheric pressure. H2HUBB also evaluated the water for detectable chlorine, ozone, and changes in pH.
Actual dissolved-hydrogen concentration may vary with water temperature, fill level, headspace, battery charge, membrane condition, lid seal, water type, cycle selection, consecutive use, and the amount of time between cycle completion and consumption. Drink the hydrogen-rich water promptly after opening to reduce dissolved-hydrogen loss.
Keep the bottom anode off-gas opening unobstructed while the bottle is operating and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for filling, charging, cleaning, and routine use.
